SSALP AW- Mountains

I hate this high altitude. Its killing my lungs and the constant upward climbing is breaking my body. I'm not sure I'll survive the journey. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope that the coast will provide supplies and company.

Si tu id aeficas, ei venient. Ager Somnia
If you build it, they will come. Field of Dreams

Until next time...

SSALP AW - Bad couple of days

I haven't been able to up date for awhile but its not entirely my fault. A huge storm just passed through and i didn't have time to crack open the old laptop. I left the old campsite and now Im somewhere in the mountains. I think that the coast isn't too far away. If I can get there I might find people.

Tempus incognitum.
Time unknown.

Roman Boots

This is my take on a rant by an angry Roman soldier after a full day of marching.

I hate boots. I hate them so much that if Rome was made of boots I would burn it down and be done with the place. And Caesar, well he’s just fantastic. He had the army marching drills all day. Thirteen hours we were marching. Thirteen god forsaken hours! Through dusty fields and muddy creeks, I swear that man is trying to kill us. I’m a soldier not an Olympian. Well I must be off. I need to get my rest. I hear that in the morning that we’re having foot races with the cavalry…

Also SSALP AW is already half over. So if you haven't been keeping up now is the time to. The final half of the saga is going to get pretty crazy.

Until next time...

SSALP AW- rough terrain

Been trekking through the surrounding woods looking for people. none yet and I cant stay at my camp forever. I'm not sure where I'm heading once i leave but anywhere is better than this place. its too quite.

Animadvertistine, ubicumque stes, fumum recta in faciem ferri?
Ever noticed how wherever you stand, the smoke goes right into your face?

Until next time...

SSALP AW- bleak picture

I've been doing a lot of hiking since my last update. the signal out here is faint but present. i still havent found anyone. Snapped the photo as i passed through. Kinda bleak.

Anulos qui animum ostendunt omnes gestemus!
Let's all wear mood rings!

Until next time...

SSALP AW- i found a ride

I found a plane at the local airstrip during my scavenging a few days ago. It was in good shape and i was able to fly it out to the country and escape the city. Not that it really matters. The Latin has reached everywhere. At least here i may find survivors.

Recedite, plebes! Gero rem imperialem!
Stand aside plebians! I am on imperial business.

More info soon. Until next time...

SSALP AW- show and tell

This is a picture i took as the sun was setting. its beautiful in a way.

Tam exanimis quam tunica nehru fio.
I am as dead as the nehru jacket.

If you dont know what a nehru jacket is, just Google it. Thats what I did. Until next time...

SSALP AW- ...

Cant say much. Still in hiding. Enjoy the Latin. Its all I have to offer...

Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant!
May faulty logic undermine your entire philosophy!

...

Until next time...

SSALP AW- chaos reigns

Its quite terrifying under the shadow of Latin. The people have all but dissapeared into their shelters and no solution is in sight. Oh well, thats just how it goes. Here's a phrase for these trobling times.

Visne saltare? Viam Latam Fungosam scio.
Do you want to dance? I know the Funky Broadway.

i wish there was more that I could do to help the resistance but for now I must be off. Until next time...

SSALP AW update- No solution in sight

I've been making my way through dense jungles and terrible seas looking for a solution to the problem we are currently facing. There seems to be none willing to help. And the aid I do recieve comes in short cryptic messages on damp scraps of paper. I created this monster and now I must handle it. But first another tid-bit of Latin.

Furnulum pani nolo.
I don't want a toaster

Fear not Internets, I shall find a cure yet. And if I don't.... well at least you'll have learned something. Now, I'm off to see a man about an unwanted toaster. It could be the answer we're looking for. Until next time...

SSALP AW update- The battle begins

With chaos and destruction so clear in our minds, the Latin continues to rage through the country. Everywhere SAT scores are soaring and universities are having raise their expectations. And even my humble blog is without protection. Oh wait a minute...I started the chaos and anarchy. Let it continue.

Quaeso esto meus vicinus.
Please won't you be my neighbor.

The beast has been unleashed and that beast speaks Latin. Now off to your appointed stations. I'm off to find a solution. Until next time...

SSALP APOCALYPSE WEEK

This is it, people. The final showdown. The SSALPs to end all SSALPs. There will be chaos, mayhem, and destruction. The blog may explode and kill those viewing it at the time. I don't know how to prepare you all for this event. This is SSALP everyday, several times a day. And it will last for as long as it can. And when the dust settles I pray that you will still value the Latin language. So now it begins with this.

Sola lingua bona est lingua mortua.
The only good language is a dead language.

May the gods have mercy on your soul. I'm off to prepare the bunker. Until next time...
