Did anyone ever get pulled over for speeding in ancient Rome? I would say not mostly because I can't see the emperor deploying soldiers to patrol the roads and check if someone on horseback is going a little quick. Also there was really no way of knowing how fast someone was going. But if someone was being reckless on the roads they could easily have been taken care of by a Roman soldier. A little ruthless but that avoids all the red tape.
