This morning i experienced one of my all time dreams: to vote in an election archaic style! The proctor asked the room to say Aye if they wanted a certain candidate to win. The room was almost unanimous. It was awesome, totally raised my spirits. This ancient from of voting, while less efficient than ballots or held up hands, is incredibly fun. And it makes me feel like I'm in a grand hall. I have no idea why it invokes that emotion but it does. The only way it could have been better in Latin!
