Catullus 2
Sparrow, the darling of my girl,
Who on each occasion she praises, who she holds in her lap,
Who gives attack to her first finger
And is accustomed to bit sharply,
When I desire your attention above all
You care for the little thing
And small consideration for my pain,
Lend then the heavy brightness to lie with me,
That you will be able to play with me as you do it
And alleviate all my pains.
Laudere- 3rd person, singular, present active infinitive, to play
Leuare- 3rd person, singular present active infinitive, to undo
Curas- 3rd person singular present active indicative
