New Catullus 1 translation

To whom do I give this new charming little book
Which has just been polished smooth by the stone?
Cornelius Nepos; you, for you are in the habit
Of thinking to some extent that I am nonsense
Now then, when you intend alone to Italy
All Unfolds in time of generations of the learned maps,
Jupiter, and his labor.
Therefore you have this little book
And to what condition, that, I remain alone
Perpetual throughout the ages by the protectress of maidens.
